Our second iteration has led us down a pathway to see hope flourish. Hope has always been at the centre of our hearts in Feathersome, through One Hope Two Give postcards and positive social media, collecting stories of courage and resourcefulness, showcasing how women lead, creating space for human connection and storytelling. Our future focus is to connect humanity through hope.
Journal goes Interstate to Retail
Marina took the Journal on holiday to introduce Sydney to it. Better Read Than Dead, a reader’s institution in Newtown, stocked the Journal and showcased it in their newsletter.
Measured our Impact
We took time to review two years of activity as a social enterprise, measure its impact and reflect on what we discovered. As this timeline shows, we undertook a large variety of work in two years during which time we connected with thousands of people, many of whom have been resourced along their own flight paths of leadership, adversity, courage and legacy. We did good work…then we looked to what was next using this knowledge to launch into Feathersome’s second iteration.
Feathersome moved Studio
You’ll find us working at the Business Studio at the State Library of Queensland. It’s a co-working space nestled in the Cultural Precinct. Between the Library and the QAGOMA buildings we’ve got plenty of inspiration. Stop by and say Hi!.
